Gouache Portrait

Portrait Paintings:

Portrait paintings are a great way to capture the essence of a person. Weather it's capturing a certain expression or pose, a portrait painting can be a great gift to a loved one, or a gift to yourself!
*Portraits will be composed of the head, shoulders and arms/part of arms only.

Process:
I mostly work from photo references once already has to reference certain lighting, poses, and colors. Despite the lengthy process, I have been able to work with grainy or non-clear pictures before, however, having a high resolution photo will cut processing times significantly and will also allow the best possible outcome for the painting.
I'd be happy to take a look at photos you may have in mind to make sure they'll be good references.
Once we decide on the best photo references, I'll start and complete the painting.

Materials:
All paintings will be made out of gouache and painted on 300g watercolor paper on your size of choice. This will minimize the warping and will allow a more sturdier feel to your paintings.

Shipping and processing:
Paintings take about 1-3weeks to be completed. Once they are completed they are wrapped inside a cellophane bag with a chipboard backing and in a rigid mailer to ensure that your painting arrives home without damage and unbent.
